Taxicab Preacher is born from the idea that all of us are travelers with stories to tell. Though one person's journey is unlike any other, finding common ground is uncomplicated. Bringing soulful Americana to life, Taxicab Preacher embodies this sentiment and provides a space to reflect on the many stories we encounter along the way.
Taxicab started up in the triangle in 2018. Old and new friends collided on a Sunday on Franklin Street to play some bluegrass tunes. Numbers were exchanged. Rehearsals every Thursday. A sound emerged. Led by the otherworldly vocal of Hailey Brighton, the band is an alt-country drenched blues revue – that will surely take you where you want to go.
